history
BEFORE BIRTH :
Once there was a beautiful silver tabby she-cat by the name of Silverfrost and a brown tabby tom named Lionbreeze. Lionbreeze was an ordinary tom who had always wanted a family of his own but not with any pretty she-cat. His greatest desire was to have Silverfrost as his mate and only her. But whenever he tried to impress her it didn't very work out. Once when he was trying to get her some flowers he tripped and fell on his face while Silverfrost watched him with wide eyes. The other time he accidentally walked into a tree while stalking a bird for her. Lionbreeze lay beside a tree one night his fur prickling with embarrassment. Silverfrost joined him and asked him to be her mate. She thought that he was amusing and funny. So Lionbreeze accepted and the two cats became mates.
Silverfrost soon announced to the clan that she was carrying Lionbreeze's kittens. The clan was happy about the good news all except one. A dark gray tom stared at them from the shadows with jealously and anger. He had been a close friend of Silverfrost once but now that she was mates with Lionbreeze they had drifted apart. "Congrats Silverfrost." He purred circling around the silver tabby she-cat. "Thank you Reedfang." She purred back. As she left, Reedfang stared at her baring his fangs when she turned around. She should have been my mate. Lionbreeze does not deserve her!
KITHOOD :
Silverfrost gave birth to two kittens, oth she-kits and heathy. She was lucky. Lionbreeze wore a proud look on her golden face. "I'm so proud of you my love." He purred covering her face with licks. Silverfrost smiled weakly before curling her tail around her offspring. "Do you want to name them now." She whispered softly her voice sweet as honey. "Of course my dear." Lionbreeze mewed back. "Could be name the silver gray tabby Cinderkit." Lionbreeze nodded. "Cinderkit suits her. And how about Mothkit for the golden one?" He asked. "Perfect." Silverfrost purred softly before licking the heads of both of her kits. "I love you my kits, I love you forever."
A few moons had passed since the birth of the sisters. The two different colored she-kits were as close as sisters could be. Cinderkit was dashing after a mossball that Mothkit had threw. "Mothkit you threw it too far." Cinderkit complained as she caught up with the mossball. "Its not my fault your legs are too short." Mothkit exclaimed. "Hey." Cinderkit began to chase after her sister. Silverfrost watched them from her nest. "Play nice you two, I don't want you disturbing Frostnose, she's sleeping." Mothkit and Cinderkit stared at their paws. "Sorry we'll be much quieter." meowed Mothkit. "Cinderkit, aren't you excited to become an apprentice?" Cinderkit stared at her sister. "I guess so, I bet it will fun." She murmured before sighing. Mothkit frowned. "You don't seem happy." She meowed. "I don't want to be a warrior I want to be a medicine cat!" Cinderkit exclaimed. "A medicine cat? Who would want to sort herbs all day and treat wounds. I'd rather be a warrior fighting for my clanmates in battle!"
"And Amberpool already has an apprentice. I don't think that she needs two." Mothkit added. Cinderkit sighed. "I guess your right. I'm going to have to be a warrior." She muttered. "Don't worry, it will be fun. You'll see." Mothkit meowed in her usual cheery tone. "Cinderkit, Mothkit time for your nap!" Silverfrost called over her shoulder. "But were not tired!" Chirped Mothkit. Silverfrost looked at her golden furred kitten. "If you don't sleep you will be too tired to do and warrior duties when your a warrior." She murmured. "Fine." Cinderkit snapped before curling up beside her mother. Mothkit leapt into the nest after her before laying down. "Good night my sweets."
WARRIOR APPRENTICESHIP :
"Cinderkit! Cinderkit!, Whitestar is making us apprentices!" Mothkit yowled her tail twitching with excitement. Silverfrost was laying on her side with her eyes fixed on her kittens. "Already? I didn't think he would do it today." The queen murmured. "Quickly groom your pelts. I want you to look your best." Silverfrost purred before beginning to lick Cinderkit. "Stop please, I can do it myself." She grumbled before scampering away from her mother. "All cats old enough to catch prey gather below me for a clan meeting." An old tom yowled. Cinderkit raced out of the nursery with Mothkit coming behind her her. "Cinderkit and Mothkit have been with us for six moons. It's time for them to become apprentices." Whitestar's voice rang through camp. "Cinderkit from now on you will be known as Cinderpaw. Shellwhisker will be your mentor. Mothkit from now on will be known as Mothpaw. Leafberry will be your mentor." Cinderpaw loooked at her mentor. Shellwhisker was a tall gray tabby tom with piercing yellow eyes. He was one of the most respected warriors in ThunderClan. "Cinderpaw! Mothpaw!" The clan cheered loudly. "Leafberry? Who's Leafberry." Mothpaw exclaimed. A short calico she-cat walked up to the golden furred apprentice. "I am. We will start training at dawn." Shellwhisker padded beside her. "We will as well." He meowed to Cinderpaw. "For now get some rest. You will be waking up quite early." Cinderpaw and Mothpaw padded towards their new den and fell asleep in one of the nests. "Hey thats my nest!" Cinderpaw blinked her eyes open to see a tortie and white she-cat leaning over her. "Sorry." Cinderpaw muttered. "I didn't realize." The other apprentice huffed. "You have a nose don't you? You should be able to pick up my scent on my nest." Cinderpaw sniffed the nest. "Not anymore." The tortie and white apprentice growled. "Get out of my nest!" The other apprentice leaped, attempting to push Cinderpaw out of the nest. Cinderpaw rolled out of the nest before landing on her side. "Hey!" But then a gray and white apprentice entered. "Sorrelpaw thats not nice." She snapped at the tortie she-cat. "But Songpaw!" Sorrelpaw started. "Fine I'll go find another nest." Cinderpaw grumbled before padding away. She wanted to sleep beside her sister.
It was already dawn. The birds were singing their usual songs as Cinderpaw padded out of them den. Shellwhisker had been waiting for her. "We will be starting with bedding this morning." Cinderpaw grumbled. Her mentor spoke spoke again before she could complain. "Remember this is an important duty. Do you want to elder's to come and do it themselves." Cinderpaw just shook her head. She began to collect moss and then returning to camp to change the elder's bedding. "Hello dear. Have you come to take away this bedding. Duskear has been complaining about a thorn all morning." An old pale she-cat meowed licking a paw. "Oh and would you mind and get this tick I cannot reach? Ask Amberpool for some mouse bile. She has a lot." Cinderpaw sighed before clearing out the old bedding. Just then a yowl rang through the camp.
"Storkpaw is dead!" Storkpaw was Amberpool's apprentice. A large tabby tom dropped the body of the medicine cat apprentice. "What happened." Amberpaw rasped with grief in her mew. The tabby stared at her sadly. "She was hit by a monster." He replied. "Storkpaw no! How can I manage without you." Amberpool cried. Cinderpaw watched them with amber eyes. Storkpaw was dead and maybe she could become medicine cat next.
MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICESHIP :
"I had a dream!" Amberpool yowled. Everyone's eyes fixed on her. "There was a fire but then it turned into cinders." Her gaze fixed on Cinderpaw. "You are mean't to be my apprentice." Cinderpaw looked at the she-cat. Her gaze was filled with excitement. "I'd love to be your apprentice. It has been my dream since I was a kit." She exclaimed. Amberpool smiled. "It's time to make that dream come true then." The orange tabby meowed offering Cinderpaw a small smile. Whitestar was watching them closely. "Is this what you really want Cinderpaw?' He asked. The silver gray tabby nodded her amber eyes shining. "Your going to have to tell Shellwhisker then. He won't be happy."
After Cinderpaw had told Shellwhisker and Mothpaw she had decided to spend some time learning some herbs with Amberpool. The orange tabby took her to the moonpool to become accepted as her apprentice. One day Amberpool was organizing her herb stores. "Is that catmint?" Cinderpaw asked her mentor flicking her tail towards the dried up plant on the den floor. Amberpool nodded. "I gotta go get some more. Smallfang had a cough this morning and I don't want it getting worse." Her yellow gaze fixed on Cinderpaw. "Could you go collect some? I have to go see if Silverfrost is ok." Amberpool left the den leaving Cinderpaw all alone.
MEDICINE CAT :
Amberpool gazed into Cinderpaw's brightly colored eyes. "Were going to the moonpool tonight. I think you deserve your full name." Her sister Mothfang had reciewed hers a couple of moons ago after saving a kitten named Eaglekit who was now Eaglepaw. Excitement made her fur prickle as the two cats journeyed to the moonpool.
