DARK && ONYX.
i'm very interested to see how these two get along! it'd certainly be interesting to have darkstar sort of take him under his wing. onyxfeather can be rather standoffish, and not necessarily a natural born leader. so an active effort on his behalf to pull some more leadership out of him would be something we could explore. that being said, they really do compliment each other as two individuals who carry a presence without really commanding attention either. i think one point they may differ on, and darkstar may be able to help onyxfeather overcome, is his intense strictness. darkstar won't be walked over or taken advantage of, but i think in terms of apprentices, darkstar is more understanding than onyxfeather. the deputy can be unnecessarily strict in that regard, and believes that warriorhood is an earned position, not a starclan-given right.

I AM ALSO SUPER EXCITED BY THE FACT THAT THEY ARE SO SIMILAR. they both operate the same way when it comes to ensuring shadowclan's survival above all help. i think these two could potentially be incredibly dangerous to anyone that threatens shadowclan's livelihood.

as far as onyx's perceptions of starclan goes, i haven't really explored it much. initially, when i first created him, he was a non-believer. however many of his posts, now, reference starclan. i haven't decided if this is more customary from being hammered into his mind, rather than belief, or what. but i think if he ever learned of darkstar's experience with the star, it could really manipulate his perceptions of the ancestors.

DINGO && TIMBER.
i can definitely see a little bit of envy from timber that dingo and snail get along so well, and seem to take the world by storm. some strained, or awkward interactions might be interesting too! haha. perhaps timberpaw can try and force himself out of his shell by attempting to incorporate himself "into the group" and be more like his brother and dingo.

MINT && TIMBER.
i think mintnose is lovely, and timber would certainly be comforted by his gentle nature. i can definitely see timber looking up to mint for guidance, or as a role model.

leona, SMALL && NETTLE.
let's be honest, nettleheart isn't very likeable. i think it would be really interesting if they sort of clashed at first! got on each other's nerves, but toughed it out because it's "starclan's will". however i think at some point it'd be interesting, perhaps after they've matured and grown a little, to start to see eye to eye and bond at least on a professional level.

but, either way, i definitely think we should thread them and see how they unfold naturally! you're more than welcome to throw small into the border thread if you'd like (and if you're up for it). if not, we can always start a thread at a later date after things settle down for you.

myth, brindle & timber.
first of all, i'm super sorry for taking so long! <3 but anyway, i think you're totally right about brindle and timber. they'd make fantastic friends and I'm excited to see where their thread goes. :)

teasel & onyx.
i think teasel and onyx would get along nicely. her neediness to be liked and slight clinginess might throw onyxfeather off guard a little bit - he might even trip up on her sensitivity a bit. but i think once they got more of a feel for each other, he'd come to a better understanding of how she operates and cherish those delicate aspects about her. whether or not you want things to go further is up to you! i think i noticed some sparks flying with smoke, so if that's the route she's going, that's totally fine too (let's be honest, i took a month to get back to you, so there's no reason that you should have to wait in limbo like that with her). just let me know what's up - regardless, i think they can have some pretty interesting situations as onyxfeather sort of adjusts how to approach her sensitivity and clinginess. he's not necessarily of the type that he needs to be liked by everyone, so it'd definitely be something he'd have to come to terms with to understand her!

myth, that's fine by me! it would definitely make for an interesting love triangle if mustang is up for it. :)
