▶ high rank expectations
high ranks are a vital part of clan life, and an important aspect of site activity. when the high ranks are inactive, the site dies. so i'm going to be fairly uptight about character activity and member activity in and around the sites. members with high ranks will be held to higher expectations, so please do not apply for a position if you do not feel you can uphold these expectations.
leaders
- are required to post at least two posts every two weeks.
- must conduct clan ceremonies.
- are expected to be active in threads beyond their leader-ly duties.
- are responsible for coordinating clan relationships with the other clans.
- must construct & enforce clan policies and morals for their leadership.
- must be active in group and personal plots.
deputies
- must produce at least two posts every two weeks.
- required to organize at least one patrol, be it hunting or borders, every month.
- must be active in clan & personal plots, should be well versed in clan politics.
- are expected to have active roles in the clans, and participate in threads beyond their strict duties.
- are required to conduct apprentice assessments before they can receive their warrior names.
medicine cats & their apprentices
- required to post at least twice every two weeks.
- must be up to date on clan politics & plots.
- medicine cats are not required to take on an apprentice immediately, but should not leave the position vacant for too long.
regarding hiatuses
- a quick note on hiatus. i am completely aware and understanding that people have lives outside of the internet - and that is perfectly okay. but please bear in mind that holding a high position does come with a degree of responsibility. i have no issue with members taking a brief leave of absence when life gets a little hectic. however, please be aware of how much time you are taking away from your duties, if you are finding that you are away on hiatus more than you are active, it may be time to consider whether you should be, or are capable of maintaining that position. high positions have much greater expectations than common characters, so please be aware of what you are stepping into when you audition for such roles.
- activity checks are also held every month, it is crucial that you post your hiatus before you take your leave. if you miss an activity check, and have not informed us that you will be away, your character will be demoted from their position.
