BRIARSTAR
42 MOONS - FEMALE - HETEROSEXUAL - THUNDERCLAN - Leader - image credit
APPEARANCE : A long-haired gray and white tabby with hazel eyes Briarstar isn't exactly the friendliest of kitties. She's the type of cat that just hates being around others. Briarstar dislikes rogues and other types of outsiders. Especially kittypets, she believes that cats like that are stupid for living with twolegs. Briarstar is fierce when it comes to defending her descisons or fighting in a battle aganst another clan. She doesn't hate the other clans but dislikes them a little bit. Briarstar just hates admitting that she's ever wrong so she will most likely believe that she's right all the time. Briarstar can seem a bit cold sometimes because her punishments and descisons are quite strict. If someone breaks the warrior code she will talk to them about it and make sure that it never happens again. Briarstar will deal with them with strict punishments such as being confined to camp for a couple of moons or deleyed apprenticeship if kits decide to explore the territory. She can be a bit impatient sometimes because she dislikes waiting for things. Briarstar likes to tease others and can be a bit snappy or rude if someone or something angers her. Briarstar isn't all that bad though. Even though she does not show it at all, this kitty does have a kind heart and is loyal to her clan above anything else. Briarstar would never betray her clan. She tries to be the best leader she can be even though she makes mistakes. Briarstar is quite confident in the choices she makes and believes that they are the right choices. Briarstar has a strong belief in StarClan and believes that the spirit clan will guide her paws until she joins them. She's very protective of her clanmates and will do anything to save them. | Briarkit had a mother that disliked her and a father that never really cared. Her mother favoured Blossomkit, the youngest of the litter. Blossomkit was sweet and kind-hearted but Briarkit was the complete opposite. She had a much more fiercer personality than her sister. Briarkit never really understood why her mother, Autumndusk disliked her that much. The she-kit wanted to know why. Briarkit was determined to prove that she was just as good as her sister so she snuck out of camp one day, looking for prey. A warrior spotted her and quickly bright the kitten back to camp. Her mother scored her but Briarkit knew that the queen did not actually really care. Briarkit's apprenticeship was delayed by one moon. After waiting seven moons, Briarkit was finally named Briarpaw and appretices to the warrior Snakebite. Snakebite was an experienced warrior who tried to stay calm as much as she could but sometimes she would get angry at Briarpaw. The she-cat passed her assessment at twelve moons and became a warrior named Briarfang along with her sister, Blossomfur. Briarfang's father, Juniperfrost died from green-cough along with Snakebite, Briarfang's former mentor. At twenty moons, Briarfang was given her first apprentice, an energetic she-cat named Dawnpaw. Briarfang was not really patient but still she trained Dawnpaw hard hoping that the young she-cat would make a fine warrior. Briarfang was actually proud when Dawnpaw was given the warrior ame Dawnsky. Blossomfur had recently given birth to Dustfeather's kits, Lightkit, Maplekit and Softkit. Briarfang did not really care since her sister had never caused her any happiness. Briarfang never expected to become deputy after Ashenstripe had died. She did not believe that she could be deputy. But still she accepted and became the new deputy of ThunderClan. One day Briarfang went on a hunting patrol with Flutterstar and another warrior. They encountered a fox and Flutterstar was too weak to fight. The old she-cat was killed in the battle. Brarfang wasn't sure if she would be a good leader. She wanted Flutterstar to still be alive. Briarfang traveled to the moonpool to receive her nine lives. |

Reason: Briarfang is one of my favourite charries that I love to RP and write about. She's one of my charries I always have muse for. If I get the position I'm looking forward to RP her because of her personality. think Briarstar/fang's personality would be great for mini plots. I have always loved leaders that are a bit snappy and might be rude to their clans and it would seem be interesting to see if Briarstar could actually handle the burden of leadership since she's kinda jealous and impatient sometimes.
I think that having a leader as snappy and rude as her might cause some conflict between the clans and ThunderClan. Briarstar never had ambitions or dreams about becoming leader and had never even expected to have the position so she's quite protective of her clan now that she has to make the descisons for her clan. She does not show it but she can have some sympathy for her clanmates or even the other clans.
Briarstar is not the type of leader that starts battles for no reason. She has to have proof when a warrior comes to her saying that RiverClan is on ThunderClan territory. I think Briarstar/fang's personality would be great for mini plots. Briarstar will respect her clanmates opinions and sometimes take them into consideration when trying to think of what to do.
Roleplay Sample:
Leafs crunched under Briarstar's paws as she made her way over to the high rock. Her fluffy gray tail trailed behind her. Her tabby fur was fluffed up with anger. Briarstar knew that she had to do something. Her hazel eyes stared at the ranks of cats gathered below her. Briarstar lifted her chin and began to speak. "RiverClan has stolen sunningrocks from us!" She yowled raising her voice, loud enough for most of the clan to hear. Briarstar lashed her tail. "I know that you would want to attack right away but RiverClan is expecting us." The she-cat growled. Briarstar knew if she would tell her warriors to fight not many of them would come back.
Briarstar's tufted ears pricked at mews of protest coming from the youngest warriors. Her eyes narrowed at them. "The word of the leader is the warrior code. Do you doubt the word of your own leader." Briarstar growled. "But sunningrocks is ours shouldn't we attack the now?" A cream striped tabby called out. "I know." She mewed firmly. "We won't let them have the rocks forever, I promise you that."
A smirk spread across the tabby's face. "We will let them have sunningrocks for a moon so they can get confortable and then we'll strike and take back the territory StarClan gave us." Briarstar yowled loudly lashing her fluffy tail. Briarstar knew that her clan needed sunningrocks for the cold days of Leafbare ahead and she couldn't risk a battle when her cats were skinny and weak. She trusted her warriors to not take back sunningrocks without her permission. She scanned the ranks of cats with hazel eyes. They fixed on three warriors that were hissing and scowling at Briarstar.
Briarstar rolled her eyes. 'I think iM gonna have to keep an eye out for them' She thought before grumbling to herself. "Those RiverClanners won't stand a chance when we will attack them next moon. They won't even see us coming!" Briarstar called out. She saw that many times of her warrior's eyes lit up. "ThunderClan, ThunderClan, ThunderClan!" The clan cheered loudly, their eyes shining and tails lashing. Her eyes were gleaming and her ears were flat aganst the back of her head. She leapt off the high rock using her tail for balance before trotting into her den. 'RiverClan will not be expecting us to attack next moon.' Briarstar thought flexing her claws. Battles were not fun but Briarstar was a bit of a fan of fighting.
