Cloudkit, Thunderclan Kit

Cloudkit is a kind cat who will do anything to help another when he can, however this is very difficult for him, considering he is completely deaf and unable to hear anything, because of this Cloudkit doesn't talk a whole lot, because he honestly doesn't see a point in talking when he can't hear the response. Cloudkit is often upset or depressed, knowing he will never hear the sound of his own voice. He will try and bottle it up and keep it hidden inside, although at times it can get too much for him and he will let it all out on the nearest cat, even if he cannot hear them. Cloudkit will try and act brave and confident despite his deafness or his worries. He will try his hardest not to be worried however sometimes his worry can leak out and it will show in his appearance. Cloudkit isn't very playful, despite being a kind cat, this is because he sees no point in playing when he can't hear anything that's going on or any of the game rules, or what he is meant to be doing. So, he often sits alone feeling sorry for himself. Aside from all this, Cloudkit is rather smart and a fast learner. If it weren't for his deafness, Cloudkit would be a great hunter and fighter because of this. Cloudkit likes to help others when he can, although with him being deaf, he is unable to hear the problems of others. Luckily, with Cloudkit being smart and a fast learner, he has the potential to lip read, but he himself does not know this. Cloudkit often dreams big, he is an ambitious cat but sadly all his dreams have been focused on one thing, a reality where he isn't himself, one where he isn't deaf, one where he isn't so upset. These dreams will often fade to reality as he day dreams, staring into space wishing life could be better. Cloudkit will always try to follow the rules, he isn't the kind of cat to be dishonest or disloyal. 

Cloudkit was born a single child, although instantly Smokepelt became worried about Cloudkit's white pelt. He knew kits eyes changed colour when they became older, and he hoped this would be the case. As Cloudkit was coming to seven weeks old, Smokepelt's worry built up, knowing that Cloudkit's eyes should of changed by now. He informed the medicine cat to which Rookfeather went to look at him, although at first Snowstorm wouldn't allow him to, but after insisting, Snowstorm knew she couldn't stop a medicine cat, and so, she allowed him to look at Cloudkit. Rookfeather called Cloudkit several times, but Cloudkit didn't even seem to notice him. After a few more tests, Rookfeather told Smokepelt and Snowstorm that Cloudkit was deaf. Of course, Snowstormed quickly shooed off Rookfeather, not wanting to believe it. As Cloudkit grew up, he noticed Smokepelt and Snowstorm fighting a few times, He didn't know why, but from Snowstorm's reactions, he could only guess it was because of him. It wasn't so bad at first, they just argued, but as it happened more and more, it lead to fights. This worried for Cloudkit, for they were the only two cats he knew, his mother and father. As he grew older, there came a time when another cat came to intervene. He didn't know who this cat was, but as soon as he came Snowstorm backed down. It was Rowanstar. Even though Snowstorm didn't want to believe it, she had no choice. It came to a point where she had to accept it. Now Cloudkit didn't hate his mother, he hardly knew her. All he knew was she was his mother, it was more he knew than any other cat, aside from his father. So Cloudkit felt closer to her more than anyone. Although, he wished he was able to stop all of this fighting before it became so bad. He wanted to help others, but that was impossible in his state. Now, Cloudkit has always been different from the rest of the kits, that much was obvious. Cloudkit never played with the other kits, he didn't want to. Instead he just sat alone away from anyone else. He never responded to others calling out to him and it was easy to sneak up on him. Cloudkit always seemed so sad but he never talked about it to anyone and when another cat asked him he would simply ignore them, or, that what it seemed like he was doing. Cloudkit was deaf.
