HAZEL & NETTLE @queenie
okay, so nettleheart is hazelstar's medicine cat, so they clearly need to have some kind of relationship. now he's not the friendliest of characters around, and probably about as bullheaded as she is. he doesn't exactly have much respect for the code, or "medicine cat rules". so the tom can be a little unconventional, and a lottle opinionated. expect him to scrutinize - he won't hesitate to call anyone out on bs, or if he thinks that that's simply a mouse-brained thing today. hazelstar will be no exception.

now depending on how these two mesh with each other, and how she handles a little challenge every now ant then, i could see them being civil but ever so subtly grating on each other, or perhaps eventually earning a mutual respect for one another, and potentially developing a strong working relationship.

SALMONSTRIPE & HAZELSTAR
So, I'm a little stuck with how these two might interact. Without a doubt though, some grating and serious snarking lies in their future. Salmonstripe is a bit of a charismatic, charming, arrogant twat with a rebellious side everyone knows about. Given he's pain in the tail to anyone who he's around and don't quite know when to stop, no doubt with Hazelstar's tongue and him not letting things go, and well, being a bit on the -shrug- side of clan duties, there will be some tensions and clashing there. However. I do wonder if somehow there is a chance for some sort of deeper relationship, depending on how they do realistically settle. They have in common their love for a ThunderClan cat, and I wonder if under the right circumstances some sort of mutual understanding could be developed.

IN EITHER CASE, @queenie, I'd love to throw them into a thread and see how they sit. >D

oh yeah, these two definitely need to have some sort of relationship with one another. they would indeed clash, especially when he calls her out on her bullshit. but with him being the medicine cat and her being the leader, they'd need to meet on some sort of common ground and basically be "for the well being of the clan, let's be civilized".

oddly enough, salmonstripe would remind hazelstar of her daughter. their personalities are somewhat similar and hazelstar might take a liking to the tom. i don't doubt that there's gonna be a lot of butting heads and harsh words thrown at one another, but i could totally see her as viewing him like he was the son she never had.

we should totally thread them somtime! <3

right now, the only riverclan bab i have is maplepaw, and i feel like she'd be pretty intimidated by hazelstar and not have any idea what to do in her presence. she's only six moons so she doesn't have a lot of experience when it comes to dealing with people in authority, but i can see maplepaw holding her up on some sort of pedestal, even though she is terrified of hazelstar. i know it's not a lot to go on, and they'd probably never be interacting one on one, but just a thought for the future! let me know if that even remotely made sense, @queenie !

Huh, that is definitely interesting. Hazel and Salmon are pretty close in age too, so it would also be interesting to play with that similarity if they suddenly start associating more without Astergrace nearby, poor baby. ;-; There will definitely be head-butting, but, there is definitely fun to be had! If you'd like, I'd be happy to throw up a thread for them?

So, RC/SC relations, it's probably about time to talk about those. :| Given they don't share any borders, and Darkstar's general distaste for anything non-ShadowClan, I can seen the two clans being in relatively neutral terms overall. I don't think they've really got much of a reason to be either allies or enemies, unless something happens at a gathering. But, I'm not sure if there'd be anything to really spark an issue either. But, how are you feeling about it?

The Pecking Order is a sandbox style role-play that allows you to explore the delicate balance of life and death throught the eyes of Warriors. This is a dog-eat-dog world and only the fittest are able to survive. In the wild, there is no saving grace, no mercy, or saviors - only survival. Find your place among the hierarchy, or die trying. You must do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of a clan, and try not to get trampled along the way. You are either predator or prey, so find your place in the spectrum.

The Pecking Order is centered in the original forest setting, in an alternate universe based on the Warriors novels by Erin Hunter. Find your soul in the gentle queen, or the brave leader, or the fierce warrior. TPO has a word minimum of 200 per post, but welcomes roleplayers of all types.

GREENLEAF - As the forest approaches the end of greenleaf, the heat seems to only be increasing. Prey runs well across all clans, plentiful even in the increasing hot weather. While there have been thunderstorms, for the past moon the storms have been fewer in number, creating a relatively dry heat across all clans.
